Good Luck!!

Good Luck to my friend Lori!  She is running her first half this weekend in Madison.  She has been training really hard and is very prepared.  You are going to do awesome Lori!  Proud of you!  Can't wait to hear how it goes.

How do you keep yourself motivated after you run a half?  Roger?  Tammy?  Do you sign up for another race?  Do you follow a training schedule?  Lori & I talked about this at lunch.  How do you keep running in your life?  How do you stay at a pace that you can run 3-5 miles 3 or 4 times a week?

Hope your ankle is doing well Roger.
Have a great weekend.  Happy Running.

Oh and my knee is feeling pretty good.  I'm trying to make friends with my treadmill....and we're past just being acquaintances now....working on becoming friends.   :)

  1. Holy crap, you reading my mind? What makes you think I am motivated. I haven't had a run over 5 miles since the last half. Plus I can't walk normal yet. After I ran my first half, I took a week off and started up again with about 20 miles a week. That was pretty nice. But after this last half, I bet I haven't logged 40 miles. I need to get some goals going again. I think thats my problem. I am goal driven, and I need some more to motivate. But I don't care to get faster, don't care to run a full, and don't care to run more than I did this year, at least races. So what is a guy to do? Run for fun? Really? I just gotta get going again. How's that for mumbo jumbo? As for the ankle, I am hoping by next wednesday to be running again. That will be two weeks. Its pretty tender yet. Good luck with the new friendship brewing. They can be tricky sometimes. Good luck Lori. Have fun.
