I just completed Week 4, Day 1. That was TOUGH!!! But I made it through. I had to really convince myself to keep going during the last 5 minute run. I'm thinking I may do Week 4 2 times. We'll see how it goes this week and then I'll decide.
I'm thinking I might run the mile race on the 4th of July. I'm going to Kid Rock/Summerfest the night before...so we'll see how late we get home and how I feel. I'm thinking cheesecurds and beer the night before might not make for a very early morning on the 4th, but we'll see.
I saw there was a half marathon/marathon in Janesville this fall. I'm thinking next year I will do that. I really hope that I make running a part of my daily life.....as long as my knee and body agrees......that is my plan.

I would go with kid rock for that weekend. You will be surpised how quickly you get goiong and keep going now Tina. You ran before, so this is just a quick get er going again schedule for you. :)
ReplyDeleteThey did bring back the half marathon in Janesville this year. Its called the River to Ridge Run. They have a full, half, 10k, and 5k run. You could do the 10 by fall if you put your mind to it. September 24th. It would be a good warm up to the Florida run. Pic up the registration form at ASR.
Keep moving. I hope Theresa is still moving. I gave her some pressure that we are all expecting her to run next spring when we come down.
